Steve I. Werner, B.S., Environmental Engineering, University at Buffalo (SUNY)

Steve is an environmental professional with 25 years of diversified experience in private industry, insurance and consulting, working throughout the United States, Europe, and South America and Africa. Steve specializes in teaming with senior managers to develop and implement strategies that reduce environmental risk. His private sector experience includes the design and implementation of a world wide environmental assessment program for a major petrochemical company and the management of more than 30 Superfund sites for that same organization.

Steve's consulting experience includes the design and oversight of numerous complex assignments such as merger and acquisitions approaching $1.0 billion and multi-site asset dispositions. His insurance experience includes oversight of the environmental insurance underwriting technical due diligence and claims management support groups for a major domestic underwriter. Steve has worked for major entities such as AIG and Occidental Petroleum Corporation. Steve is President of Ridgeline Consulting Group, Inc., and is an alliance partner of Project Navigator.
