DATA MINING AND GIS

The goal on any project is to make the right decisions based on existing data and to carefully decide what further data may be required to fill data gaps.

PNL has an internal culture, which has served our clients well and cost-effectively, of using GIS techniques to rapidly assimilate, visualize and understand project information. We believe such techniques could be of use on the Passaic River project.

Cooperating parties may wish to consider pooling project analytical data into a common GIS database that could be used for decision making. PNL is willing to demonstrate possible GIS applications to
the RPs.

PNL has used GIS as a value added data management and visualization tool since the company’s founding.
