One of our proven strengths is, with minimal data or severe time constraints, to bound the possible remedial approaches and costs. During this process we heavily utilize our GIS and data information visualization techniques.

Remedy development using GIS in Hawaii

 

PNL is expert in sludges and sediments sampling, which will be a large component of any further data gathering on the Passaic River.

Case Study:

• During a 2 week timeframe PNL reviewed all available information on a major remedy for one million cu.yd. of oily sludges. The data was entered into GIS, and remedial approaches and costs were estimated. This information allowed Chevron to plan appropriately for upcoming SOW negotiations.
